Browsing Records

At any time during the search entry process, or after search execution, records can be browsed, assuming that multiple records have been created.

To scroll through records, use the record book located on the left-hand side of the screen. To move forward, select the bottom page. To move backward, select the top page. When it is not possible to move forward (i.e. last page) the bottom page will appear blank and vice-versa.

During the search phase, records are created for each unique set of search parameters. More than one record will exist only if the Multiple or Duplicate buttons have been checked to enable compound searches. Browsing between records will enable you to double check and edit search parameters.

During search execution, the search records will be replaced with a set of found records. One record will be created for every well event. The first well event record will display on screen, with all applicable fields populated.

Note that although you can easily browse through the found set using the search screen, the recommended way to view search results is through the use of Lists.

To revert to the search records in order to verify or edit a search, check the button.

Once Modify has been checked, the search must be re-executed in order to view results.
