Play Types Box

EDGE data is assigned to 115 differing play types, according to established Canadian Discovery boundaries and definitions. These definitions are influenced by Geological Survey of Canada definitions and are under continual review. Play maps and schematics are provided.

Two Play Type dropdown menus are provided to enable searches by either Producing Play or Objective Play. For an explanation see Play Assignments.

Once the search is executed, thumbnails of the play map and schematic will load. Selecting (clicking on) the images will load a full scale version of the corresponding graphic.

Through the use of multiple records, it is also possible to search more than one play at a time. To learn how to search using multiple records see Compound Searches.
