In 2005, Rakhit Petroleum Consulting Ltd. merged with Canadian Discovery Ltd. Building on over 25 years of experience, and hundreds of domestic and international studies, Canadian Discovery Ltd. (CDL) provides fully-integrated geoscience services to resource sector stakeholders.

Canadian Discovery is a privately, employee-owned geological information services company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The company's management team comprises technical and management professionals with a diverse range of experiences. Canadian Discovery currently employs over 20 intermediate to senior geoscience professionals, as well as a team of software developers, data management professionals, graphic designers and other support staff. Canadian Discovery also offers geoscience consulting in the fields of geology, hydrogeology, reservoir characterization and with the acquisition of Sound QI (SQI) in September 2012, quantitative seismic interpretation.

SQI's entire technical team and proprietary Seismic Transformation and Classification (STAC™) workflow will be merging with CDL's Geoscience Consulting group. In addition, CDL will continue to develop and bring to market SQI's state of the art Interactive Multi-Attribute Classification (IMAC™) software for Quantitative Seismic Interpretation.

Canadian Discovery has access to the full range of industry resources, including ESRI ArcGIS, geoSCOUT, AccuMap, IHS Hub, MJ Systems, Geographix SeisVision and Geographix LogM and HDS Petrophysical software. Proprietary resources include the Well Completions & Frac Database, GeoFluids™, Hydrostation™, EDGE and numerous strategic reports and atlases. These in-house resources, along with an extensive list of worldwide associates and joint-venture partners enable us to offer the full spectrum of geoscience services.
